Kenneln
Vi är mor och dotter som tillsammans driver denna kennel. Hundar är vårt stora intresse, det är kul att ha ett sådant enormt intresse gemensamt.
Vi hjälps åt med allt som har med hundarna att göra. Vi har haft Lagotto sedan 2005. Mellan åren 2006 och 2017 har vi också haft minst en dalmatiner i hemmet, en ras som står oss väldigt varmt om hjärtat. Men i nuläget ser vi inte att någon mer dalmatiner kommer att flytta in hos oss igen. Men man ska aldrig säga aldrig. Vi väljer dock att fokusera på Lagotto just nu.
Vår första lagottokull föddes i december 2012. Vi planerar noga inför varje valpkull vi väljer att ta, det är aldriga några förhastade beslut. Vi är väldigt noga med hälsa och mentalitet men vi tycker också att det är självklart att en Lagotto ska se ut som en Lagotto, så rastyp är en mycket viktig faktor i vår avel. Vi föder upp i en liten skala eftersom detta är vår hobby. Vi lägger ner mycket tid på valparna medan de är kvar i kenneln och vi vill hinna med att följa utvecklingen för samtliga valpar som lämnat kenneln.
Vi följer SKKs regler och använder alltid deras avtal. Vi väljer avelsdjur noga, det gäller både våra tikar och de hanar vi väljer att para med. Vi röntgar, ögonlyser, gör DNA-tester och utställningsmeriterar våra hundar innan de går i avel. Skulle de visa sig inte hålla måttet kommer de heller inte att användas i avel.
Ska vi beskriva TufflaZ med tre ord så skulle vi säga:

We are mother and daughter who run TufflaZ together. Dogs are our big interest in life and it’s so much fun to have that kind of enormous interest in common.
We always take care of all the dog related matters together. We have had Lagotto in the family since 2005. Between the years 2006 and 2017 we have also had at least one Dalmatian in the family, a breed that is very dear to us. But we have no plans for a new Dalmatian at this time. We have decided to put all our focus on the Lagotto for now.
We had our first litter in December 2012. We plan very carefully before every mating we make, we do not believe in hasty decisions. We are very careful about health and mentality but we also think that it’s extremely important that a Lagotto looks like a Lagotto, so breedtype is a big factor in our breeding. We breed in a small scale since this is our hobby. We put a lot of time into the puppies while they are with us and we wan’t to have the time to follow up all the puppies that leave the kennel.
We follow the Swedish Kennel Clubs rules and use their agreement forms. We chose the animals we breed from very carefully, that goes for our bitches as well as the males we chose to mate them with. We x-ray, do eye checks, DNA-tests and show all our dogs officially before they are used for breeding. If it would turn out that they don’t have what it takes then they will never be used either.
If we should describe TufflaZ with three words we would say:
